Farmall "A" with Werner front end loader. Used for clearing, pulling
stumps, ditching, back-filling, leveling, etc. I've had the tractor
for about 20 years and have not had any significant problems with it.
Mostly just routine maintenance and a new battery every 3 or 4 years
(it's got a 6V system). All the hydraulics are in good condition.
The front tires were replaced shortly after I bought the tractor as it had old car tires there. The rear tires were worn and weathered back then too but I never found it necessary to replace them so they are still worn and weathered.
The little four cylinder engine is very easy on gas using only about 1 gallon per hour of run time. More ...
Sharp, comfortable, great-driving, clean and dependable. Just a
few adjectives that describe this car. I've owned and driven this car
pretty much daily since 2004 and I am still debating the wisdom of
selling it. Although it has a lot of miles on the odometer, it
still runs and drives like new.
When I bought the car the right front fender had been replaced (note the missing pin stripe in the picture on the link page). Also three years ago the intake manifold leaked and the anti-freeze scrubbed down one of the cylenders. The motor was replaced with one from the salvage yard and has been running perfectly since then.
The car is clean inside and out. There's no significant wear on the seats or carpet. Although there are a few age related issues, it's still a good car at a good price. More ...
