DEPARTURE CHECK LIST

1. Roof vents and windows closed.

2. Cabinet doors and drawers all shut.

3. Refrigerator door closed and latched.

4. Stove cover down.

5. Bathroom door secured (strapped) open.

6. Tables stowed and secured (strapped).

7. TV/DVD lifted and secured with retaining pin.

8. Counter tops cleared.

9. Water pump turned off.

10. Toilet flushed and lid down.

11. Awning retracted and support arms locked.

12. Electricity, water and sewer disconnected.

13. Septic gate valves closed and cover in place.

14. Remove wheel chocks, back off leveling ramps and stow.

15. Outside storage doors closed and locked.

16. Steps put away.

17. Bicycles and/or rear cargo secured.

18. Trailer properly hitched and lights plugged in and checked.

19. Campsite clean and all personal property removed.

Perform a final walk around to make sure there is nothing still hooked up or otherwise able to restrict departure. Drive ahead a few feet and check again for anything that might have been hiding under the RV. Lock the deadbolt on the RV door and make sure key is properly locked in the key vault. Check everybody’s seatbelts. Go!
